Letter: One of the best equestrian facilities in the state
On behalf of Camp Verde FFA & PALS I would like to thank Jerry Brown for the amazing work he has put into the Verde Valley Fairgrounds Equestrian Arena. The arena at the fairgrounds has become one of the best facilities in the state of Arizona due to his hard work and dedication. With the help of Bedrock - Tom & Cami Mulcaire, Gooch Welding - Rob McKlem, H & H Hauling - Mike Heath, Bob Masters, Ginny Rinch with the Horseman's Council, and Mike Core, Jerry Brown has created an outstanding equestrian facility.
This last weekend CVHS FFA & PALS hosted an Arizona High School & Junior High School Rodeo with more than 200 contestants and thousands of spectators. Every person that attended the rodeo felt our facility has become one of the best in the state due to the improvements that Jerry Brown implemented. The improvements included moving the bleachers closer to the arena, correcting drainage problems, and ground improvements. The ground is a very important part of a rodeo with the speed events that occur and Jerry Brown worked endlessly on the ground, bringing in special dirt, and removing all rocks, to make the ground spectacular. During the event Mike Jones kept the ground in perfect condition, which allowed no animals to be injured.
We are so lucky in our community to have people like Jerry Brown, Tom & Cami Mulcaire, Mike Jones, Good, and others that made our weekend perfect. Thank you to our outstanding Agricultural Science Teachers, Kristie Mulcaire & Kaylee Taylor, for working an endless amount of hours to bring such an exceptional event to our community. We had a great amount of sponsors and we appreciate all of them!
