If you receive medical care from Spectrum Healthcare, Connections Primary Care, or Valley Medical Center, your doctor is moving this weekend, and the new location will be 651 W. Mingus Avenue in Cottonwood.
Spectrum C.E.O. Robert Cartia announced today that the agency's new medical center is completed and will open for business on Monday, July 14.
Spectrum Healthcare, formerly known as Verde Valley Guidance Clinic, has renovated the Mingus Avenue facility which will house Spectrum's psychiatric and primary medical care providers, as well as an on-site pharmacy.
Patients who previously saw their medical providers at Valley Medical Center, located at 214 So. Main St. in Cottonwood, will now find their providers at the new location, as will patients of Connections Primary Care, which has been located on Spectrum's main campus at 8 E. Cottonwood St.
The agency's psychiatric services at the Cottonwood St. location will also move to the new building. Most case managers, therapists, and support staff will remain at the Cottonwood St. location.
Services provided at Spectrum's Camp Verde and Sedona offices won't be affected by the location change. If you are not sure where to go for services, call 634-2236 for information.
Spectrum Healthcare is contracted through NARBHA, the Regional Behavioral Health Authority for Coconino, Navajo, Yavapai, Apache and Mohave counties.
