Mary Evelyn Quillen of Lake Montezuma passed away peacefully at The Haven of Camp Verde on June 21, 2014.

She was born on July 4, 1917 in Sweetwater, Tennessee to the late Altha Jane McFarland and John Harvey Ramsey.

Evelyn (Evie) enjoyed traveling and visiting with family and friends after retiring from Coor's Porcelain Plant in Golden, Colorado in 1982.

She also enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts and talking on the phone with her many friends and relatives across the United States. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ralph; her son, Clarence; her grandson, Bobby and her great-grandson, Robert. She is survived by her sons, Samuel Quillen (Sue) of Lake Montezuma, AZ, Luther Quillen (Ivy) of Lapine, AL, Paul Quillen of Rimrock, AZ and John Quillen of Farmington, NM; her daughters, Virginia Kirk (David) of Grand Junction, CO and Juanita Pollack of Farmington, NM; her dear friend, Alice Wells of Lake City, FL.

She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the chapel of Bueler Funeral Home, 143 W. Arnold Street, Camp Verde. Visitation will begin at 10:00AM and funeral services will begin at 11:00AM.
