Verde Valley Regional Economic Organization Board of Directors recently held their first meeting of 2015, electing a new executive committee. In November 2014, two new members also joined the board.
The following individuals make up the new Executive Committee of the VVREO board of directors:
Chairman: William Jump, Principle, Out of Africa Wildlife Park
Chair Elect: Jennifer Wesselhoff, President/CEO, Sedona Chamber of Commerce
Secretary: Casey Rooney, Director Economic Development, City of Cottonwood
Treasurer: Jodie Filardo, Director Economic and Community Development, City of Clarkdale
In addition, the following two individuals bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in economic development to the board and were appointed at the November, 2014 board meeting by resolution of the membership.

The event will also highlight the relevant role that Yavapai College plays in facilitating economic development and building community wealth in the Verde Valley.
Entrepreneurs, small business owners, financial industry representatives, public officials, and the community at large are invited to attend.
Speakers for the event include Dr. Penny Wills, President, Yavapai College; William Jump, VVREO Chair and President, DEC Investment Group; TJ Jennings, Vice President of Capital, Arizona Commerce Authority; Mary Juetten, Founder and CEO, Traklight.com; Alexandria Wright, Director, Regional Economic Development Center, Yavapai College; a speaker from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Economic Development Section, as well as other distinguished members of the VVREO Board of Directors.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Yavapai College Verde Campus Community Room M-137, 601 Black Hills Drive, Clarkdale, AZ 86324.
