Lelia Scott Malott, 91, of Cottonwood passed away July 18. She was born August 31, 1923 in Frankfort Kentucky.

Lelia worked at the rationing board in Batavia Ohio during WWII and was a Clerk for the U.S. Postal Service in Flagstaff Arizona until she retired in 1985.

Lelia was a member of the Junior Women's League, a Boy Scout Den Mother, and Brownie Leader. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star, and NARFE.

Lelia was preceded in death by her husband Warren Malott, her parents, John and Ruth Semones, two sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by her sister Ava Jones of Cincinnati Ohio, daughter Diane Ekstrom (Ron) of Phoenix, son Daniel Malott of Phoenix, and daughter Devon Lewis (Tim) of Cornville, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held on Aug. 15 at Cottonwood Village (auditorium) from 2 to 4 p.m.
