Women of the Moose Chapter 1854 are holding the 2nd Annual "Friends of Veterans" fundraiser from 4:30 to 10 p.m. on Armed Forces Day, May 16.

This popular event takes place at the Moose Lodge, 105 S. Broadway, Clarkdale, starting with cocktail hour, door prizes/raffles, a chicken and rib dinner and dancing.

The band, led by singer/musician Charleah Allen draws a big crowd. California born Allen and pianist Jim Hannah have performed together for 20 years, moving from Phoenix to Sedona in 2001 to form Happy Days.

Rich and Linda Van Tillborg on guitar and Steve Mercer on drums previously billed as the Colorado Kool Aid band. Rod Rodriguez on the Saxophone is a three time Hall of Fame recipient. Happy Days chose a name that reflects their pop songs and country hits popular in the 50's and 60's.

All proceeds from this Denim & Diamonds event will be donated to Veteran organizations.

Buy your tickets now -- available at the lodge -- or call Teresa at 928-282-7246. Price is $20 per person.
