Yavapai County to participate in Lynx Creek bridge project

Yavapai County is participating in a federally-managed project to replace the existing single-lane Lynx Creek bridge on Walker Road located in the Walker community.

This project is part of the Arizona Federal Lands Access Program that is improving various public roadways around the state that provide access to federally owned lands.

Construction is underway and the contractor will soon be installing large pre-cast concrete bridge girders with a large crane.

Traffic delays of up to 45 minutes may occur between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sept. 14-15 while the girders are being unloaded and placed on the bridge abutments. Full time emergency access will be provided as necessary.

Questions concerning this construction project should be forwarded to Al Miner Contracting at (928) 778-2204, or Project Manager David Schneider of Yeh and Associates at (720) 326-3186.
