Couples considering having a Sedona or Northern Arizona wedding are in for a real treat on Jan. 16.
That's when the annual 2016 Sedona Bridal Show and Boot Camp will be coming to the Hilton Sedona.
Over the past five years, The Sedona Bridal Show and Boot Camp has evolved from a modest group of about 20 brides who gathered in the Sedona Wedding Services studio (SWS).
Today, the much anticipated event has become the largest bridal show in Northern Arizona.
With more than 70 exhibitors, including 16 major venues occupying the entire Hilton ballroom, foyer and adjoining meeting rooms, the show naturally attracts hundreds of excited brides and couples wanting that special Sedona-style, high-country wedding.
In the beginning, the show was conceived as a small, open-house soiree put on by, and exclusively for, the SWS membership.
Success brought more and more professionals in the wedding community (who were not members of the SWS) asking if they could participate as well.
Recognizing the need to become all-inclusive and welcome everyone to join in on their success, the show's producers quickly revised the business model and changed the name to the "Sedona Bridal Show and Boot Camp."
By welcoming everyone in the wedding community to participate, the Sedona wedding industry has benefited as a whole and the show has grown into the great event it is today.
Under the direction of professional event planners and decorators, Ken Heflin and Jim Bullock of Events By Show Stoppers and event rental guru, Deb Beggs of Classic Party Rentals, the 2016 Sedona Bridal Show and Boot Camp has eclipsed all other local wedding planning events.
Sedona's only bridal show and resource rich website is invaluable in helping couples source services and plan their weddings, not only at the event, but throughout the entire year.
The Sedona Bridal Show and Boot Camp is all about style. Don't expect to see the typical pipe-and-drape trade show approach, but rather an environment that is both inspirational with its romantic ambiance as well as productive with its carefully selected vendors and top venues. Custom structures, ambient lighting, draping and décor inspires brides when they enter the room
Many members of Sedona Wedding Services (.com) will be participating, along with other top vendors from Sedona, Flagstaff, Phoenix and Prescott. Sixteen important venues and popular ceremony sites in Sedona and Flagstaff will be represented.
"There will be more to see and do than ever before," show co-producer, Deb Beggs of Classic Party Rentals says. "We are so pleased that four great caterers will be serving tasty samples to our guests. Our designer cake companies will be giving away samples and sweet treats. We have four photo booth companies that will be serving up lots of fun, too. DJs and musicians will be performing. Complimentary hair and make-up trials are always a hit. Prizes, show specials and drawings will be provided by most vendors."
Co-producers Jim Bullock and Ken Heflin of Events By Show Stoppers add, "Leading designers, wedding planners and stylists are going to delight everyone with inspirational table-top displays and ceremony ideas. We are particularly excited that designer wedding gowns will be featured by strolling models."
Again this year, local radio personalities will be interviewing couples and vendors throughout the day with a high-energy live remote. Photographers will be everywhere taking candid pictures and filming videos that will later appear in social medial and on the Sedona Bridal Show and Boot Camp website's blog.
Show producers add that, "It's quite a production. With so much to see and do, many brides take advantage of the opportunity and stay all day and get lots done. Practically all of the Sedona wedding community is there, so it's the perfect opportunity for couples to connect, plan and design everything all in one day."
Luxurious Spas, honeymoon travel services, luxury transportation, Jeep tours, wineries, eight sensational photographers, videographers, specialty rentals, linens, and five fabulous floral companies will be there.
All four of the leading wedding publications in Arizona will be there giving away complimentary copies of their gorgeous latest editions. In short, everything and everyone a couple needs to plan their dream wedding will be there.
