For those in the know, the first Wednesday of the month has come to mean one thing: Trivia Night at Vino di Sedona.

Every First Wednesday since February 2015, Triviameister NeuroZach has crafted five rounds of customized questions, each round a different theme, offering Sedona residents and visitors alike the chance to win prizes and bragging rights.

Not to mention the opportunity to enjoy the cozy ambiance, delicious food, and wide variety of wine and beer that have made Vino di Sedona one of the finest, most unique places to enjoy an evening in town.

And, since he's been joined by local favorite, DJ Lounge Lizard D, whose fine selection of vintage records and unique banter has added a touch of class to the proceedings, there's finally something fun to do in Sedona on a weeknight.

During the rounds, Lounge Lizard D injects music into the proceedings, then takes over between rounds, so there's always some kind of party going on. Join NeuroZach and Lounge Lizard D Jan. 6, 7-10 p.m. for fun and trivia.

After taxing the brain with trivia on Wednesday night, listen to the relaxing, yet inspiring rhythm guitar and vocals by Tim Young on Thursday, Jan. 7 from 7-10 p.m.

Before moving to Sedona, Young had a 30-year music career in NYC where he performed hundreds of shows and released three CD's.

Young's lyrics are inspired by personal relationships, politics, the bar scene and the music business.

Celebrate the second weekend of 2016 with two local favorites Paolo and Alex Ogburn on Saturday Jan. 9.

Paolo's beautiful vocals and piano accompany afternoon wine tasting, 3:30 until 6 p.m.

Ogburn takes over for night-time entertainment, 7-10 p.m. Ogburn's music career has taken him from Birmingham, AL to Orlando, FL to Sedona.

In Birmingham, Ogburn began playing in pubs and restaurants at the age of 19.

The years in Birmingham contribute to Ogburn's fiery and soulful Southern blues.

Ogburn's show will include unique interpretations of a wide range of choice covers, and eclectic originals.

Open Jam and Open Mic are the best in early week interactive entertainment in Sedona. Jim French hosts Open Jam every Sunday, 6-9 p.m.

French is a Sedona native, and local realtor, as well as a singer-songwriter.

Every Tuesday, 6-10, Dan Rice hosts Open Mic, Rice is long time favorite musician in Sedona, and welcomes all music styles to perform at Open Mic.
