LAKE MONTEZUMA -- An incident command vehicle and Yavapai County Sheriff's Office investigators are clustered around a home in the 3900 block of East Meadow Lane in Lake Montezuma.

Yavapai Sheriff's spokesman Dwight D'Evelyn is not at the scene, but reports there was a shooting connected to an ongoing family dispute. " One person is deceased and one person is injured. Both of these persons were apparent suspects in the initial assault. No arrests have been made at this time," said D'Evelyn.

A neighbor told the Verde Independent/Bugle that a father and stepson lived in the house, but there has been a third person at the home recently. The woman said she heard gunfire last night before the Sheriff's Office arrived and investigators have since been working around the clock.
