Letter: Community stepped up in major way to clean Clear Creek Cemetery
Community stepped up in major way to clean Clear Creek Cemetery
Saturday October 29th The Clear Creek Cemetery had what is becoming the annual clean up day. I want to thank all of the people involved: Dick and Brenda Hauser, Claudia Hauser, Pam and Darell Jackson, Taylor, Ashleigh, Braden and Peyton Hammond, Rise` Pavy, Heather Risk, Ashley Hollaman, Jim Switzer, Dennis Cassady, Linda Buchanan, Charity Callahan and Aaron Brooks.
Also Taylor Waste who is so graciously donating the trash pick up at the cemetery. Nice Jons for providing a porta jon and keeping it clean. Thomas Thurman for arranging dump vouchers for us and especially Van Parsons and all the work that the Adult Probation department does to help us.
We couldn’t keep the cemetery clean without these kind people. So if you see these people at the post office or in the grocery store simply say “Thank You, great Job!!!”
Also, after working to clean up the cemetery we would like to ask people that if you are going to take artificial flowers and leave them at your loved ones grave, please go back out and pick them up in a couple of months. When they come apart they become trash for someone else to pick up. Please help us to keep the area clean and neat.
Now through April 15th, the water at the cemetery will be shut off due to the potential of frozen water lines. During that time if there is something that you feel needs to be watered you will need to bring your own water.
Once again I am pleading for donations to keep our cemetery going. They can be mailed to Clear Creek Cemetery Association PO Box 1042, Camp Verde, Arizona 86322. Any questions or if there are any other people that would like to volunteer to help out please call me (Linda Callahan) at 928-821-1052 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
