The Big Park School’s Annual Spaghetti Dinner was a tremendous success again this year, and we are bursting with gratitude for the support of this community!

Above all, thanks go to the Hilton Resort at Bell Rock, which has sponsored our Spaghetti Dinner for more than 15 years!

Thanks, also, to our generous door prize donors: The Eye Boutique of Sedona, Sedona Beauty Company, Miley’s Café, Beauty by Cady, the Sedona Animal Clinic, Pink Jeep Tours, Sedona Skin & Wax Studio, Katie Chorlton LMT, the Schoolhouse Restaurant, the Sedona Athletic Club, Westervelt Family Dentistry and the Sedona Lash Bar.

Thanks to ALL who joined us for dinner on October 4th, which was a sold-out affair! Just be certain to buy your tickets in advance next fall!

We’d also like to give a shout out to Roberto Arizmendi and his crew at Village Landscaping & Maintenance.

They donated almost 50 hours of labor to lay fresh red gravel throughout the school’s parking lot area. Our kids and their families raised the funds to purchase the rock at our first Fun Run last spring. We will hold the Big Park Fun Run again on May10th; so stay tuned for further information about that event and volunteer/sponsorship opportunities.

Moving forward, we remind everyone to vote in this year’s Sedona School Board election. Big Park Community School PTSA will hold a final candidate forum at Big Park’s multipurpose room on Thursday, November 3rd from 4 - 5:30pm. Join us from 4-4:30 to meet and greet the candidates; the forum itself will start at 4:30.
