New home for Bearcloud Gallery at Collective Sedona

Bearcloud Gallery has been a Sedona landmark for a quarter of a century. This year marks a milestone for the gallery, which has moved into The Collective Sedona shopping plaza in the beautiful Village of Oak Creek. The newly revitalized Collective is shaping up to be Sedona's premier arts and entertainment venue.

The new location is triple the size of the previous gallery allowing more space to display new art, jewelry, clothing and of course featuring the amazing paintings of Bearcloud. His Artwork opens up doors of spirit and mystical realms. The gallery now shows Jane Osti of the Cherokee nation.

Her award-winning pottery is accomplished through the old Cherokee ways going back thousands of years.

The gallery still has its classics like the Gadomski Family Manitou's. They're Ojibwa inspired kachina like critters that carry spirit of the different animals bringing amazing life to the art.

In addition to the gallery expansion Bearcloud is excited to announce the opening of his Native Cultural Center.

The center features photographs of local pictographs and artifacts from the Verde Valley and Northern Arizona. Included with the photographs are explanations about the Native people discussing creation stories, important traditions, and spiritual beliefs.

A very special part of the Cultural Center is the Wisdom wall. Bearcloud has interviewed Native Wisdom keepers and Spiritual Chiefs from Indigenous tribes across the Nation.

He asks them to answer one question: "What would you like the people of Earth to know?" The Wisdom wall is an ongoing project and something to watch and see how it unfolds over the coming years. It's very poignant for the times we live in.

Saturday, Oct. 1, 5-7 p.m., Bearcloud will host a grand opening celebration. Bearcloud be on hand to showcase his newest painting "Heart of Oneness" and answer questions about the Native Cultural Center. Wine snacks and will be served.

The new location in the Village of Oak Creek at The Collective is 7000 HWY 179 Suite 100 Sedona, AZ 86351.
