Performing on both Friday, August 11 and Saturday, August 12 is singer, songwriter and guitarist Dan Vega. His smooth vocals and unique blend of contemporary and blues-tinged guitar never fail to put audiences at ease. Vega will entertain at Bella Vita Italian restaurant from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on both evenings.
With years of classical and jazz saxophone training and performance, Vega began his musical career as a guitarist in the Buffalo, NY and Austin, TX blues scenes. He has also been a featured performer aboard cruise ships across the Caribbean.
On Thursday, August 10, the duo “Diversity” creates a party-like atmosphere on the patio from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. With spunk and grit, they lighten things up by performing the best of Motown, jazz, country, reggae and contemporary music. Tim Claybon and Rene’e Rice of Diversity play something for everyone, and make it easy to have a good time.
Gently rounding up the weekend is elegant Gioia Cohen and Jon Weekly. They perform vocal harmonies of golden hits on acoustic guitar from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. this Sunday, August 13. Hear your favorite tunes from the Boomer era including songs by The Beatles, James Taylor, John Denver, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Buddy Holly, Eagles, Cat Stevens, Buffalo Springfield, John Prine and more.
Live music on the patio at Bella Vita is offered Thursday through Sunday evenings during warm weather months. Light acoustic guitar is also provided indoors on Fridays and Saturdays by Jon Weekly.
