NAZ Suns unveil 2017-18 schedule

The Northern Arizona Suns released their 50-game schedule on Thursday.

The season starts on Nov. 4 when the Suns host the South Bay Lakers and runs to late March.

The Suns host defending G League champions the Raptors 905, on March 16 at the Prescott Valley Events Center. They play the runner ups, Rio Grande Valley, three times, with the first one being Nov. 14 on the road.

The full NAZ schedule is on nazsuns.com/schedule.

The Suns have five back-to-back games, one below the league average of six back-to-backs.

The G League eliminated four games in five nights and five games in seven days. Northern Arizona will play 15 of their 24 home games on weekends, including 11 on a Friday or Saturday night.

The Suns’ longest road trip will go to Sioux Falls, Memphis, Rio Grande Valley, Reno, Austin and Mississauga, Canada, for the NBA G League Showcase. That seven-game road swing will beg Dec. 29 to Jan. 18.

The theme night schedule will be released at a later date.

Season tickets are now on sale. Visit nazsuns.com/memberships to view different pricing for the 24-game package.
