Motorcyclist loses control, flown to hospital

JEROME – Jerome Fire Department received a call around 11:30 a.m. Sunday for a down motorcycle on SR 89A in Jerome.

The 26-year-old male rider suffered trauma, said Fire Chief Rusty Blair, and was flown to Flagstaff Medical Center. The motorcycle received significant damage, said the fire chief.

Jerome Police Chief Allen Muma said the driver lost control around milepost 342.

The man was wearing a helmet, said police.
