Barbara Nell Miller, 82 of Camp Verde, passed away on Feb. 5, 2019. She was born on Dec. 27, 1936, in Lufkin, Texas.

Barbara attended school in Flagstaff. She retired from APS and was a former Vice Mayor of Flagstaff and former Mayor of Camp Verde. She was the first woman Right of Way Agent in Arizona for APS.

Barbara was a Sunday school teacher. She belonged to the Toast Masters, the Soroptimist volunteer organization, a CASA volunteer and a Northern Arizona Realtor Advocate.

Barbara was preceded in death by her son, Marvin E. Harper Jr., and granddaughter, Jennifer Christine Weers.

She is survived by daughters Tina LeBleu of Camp Verde and Cherri Y. Weers (Steven) of Gilbert, Arizona; sister Connie (Colleen) LeBleu of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Services will be held at Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019, at 2 pm.
