Located at the mouth of Oak Creek Canyon, Sedona is the crown jewel of the Verde Valley.Established in 1902 and incorporated in 1988, the city is named for Sedona Schnebly, the wife of early settler T. Carl Schnebly. Her stature stands in front of the library.
