“Meditation is a practice by which there is constant observation of the mind. It is not only a practice, but it is a state of being where the little ego melts, and the differentiating mind vanishes. All barriers, sense of duality, differences, separateness and distinctions disappear." ~ Swami Vishnudevananda Join us at the Cottonwood Public Library at 12 p.m. on the first and third Monday of each month, beginning November 5, for "Meditation Mondays," a thirty minute meditation for peace followed by an open discussion about yoga and meditation. The practice is guided for the first five to ten minutes, and is completed in silence. Meditation cushions and chairs will be provided, please plan to arrive and be settled in your seat no later than 12:10 p.m. so that we may include all who wish to participate. This session is offered jointly by the Cottonwood Library and Divine Grace Yoga Ashram (an affiliated center of International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers).
