The Verde Art Gallery of Yavapai College hosts a reception to open a group exhibition of local and national ceramic artists who are working to rebuild and reimagine the legendary Reitz Ranch in Clarkdale, Arizona. Complimentary appetizers will be offered and a cash wine bar will be hosted by the award-winning Yavapai College Southwest Wine Center. The Reitz Ranch is part of the art legacy of world-renowned clay artist and educator Don Reitz who passed away in 2014. The Ranch was recently purchased by artist Sheryl Leigh-DaVault and her husband Ted DaVault who bring the vision of continuing the Reitz Ranch legacy and building a clay arts community there. The show will feature several pieces by the late Don Reitz, courtesy of the Reitz Family Trust, as well as work by the following local and national ceramic artists affiliated with the Ranch: Kent Adams, Kelley E. Foy, Ian Hall, Jeff Heeg, Nena Jacobs, Heidi Kreitchet, Frank Krevens, Matt Long, Lawrence Meagher, Ben Roti, Mat Rude, Tim Sinson, Preston Tolbert, Sara Tolbert, and Dexter Woods.
