Robert C. Sadler
Camp Verde resident Robert Sadler died June 2 in Payson.
He was 40 years old.
Mr. Sadler was born Oct. 10, 1959, in Baldwin Park, Calif.
He was a maintenance director at Kohls Ranch.
Survivors include his wife Juanita Sadler of Camp Verde; a son, Jason of Camp Verde; his parents, Edward and Vera Sadler of Cottonwood; a sister, Sue Fellen of Idaho; a nephew, Michael Fellen of Reno and a niece, Kelly Fellen of Idaho.
A memorial service was held June 8 at Hepler’s Funeral Home in Camp Verde.
William F. Guth Sr.
William Guth Sr. died June 5 in Cornville.
He was 73 years old.
Mr. Guth was born in Mount Zion, Ky. Aug. 30, 1926, the son of John and Vernia Guth.
He married Shirley Buchner of Cincinnati in 1951 and moved to Phoenix in 1953.
Mr. Guth worked for Del Webb Development Corp. for over 30 years until his retirement in 1988.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley; two sons, William of Camp Verde and Murrell of Phoenix; two daughters-in-law, Mary and Nina; a sister, Margaret McGinley of Glendale; grandchildren, David and wife Cheryl of Lake Montezuma and Rozlynn of Phoenix; three great-grandchildren, Sean, Chad and Bailey; a niece, Sherry, and husband, Robert Eldridge of Peoria and a nephew, Robert McGinley of Benson.
Mr. Guth was remembered as a special man who believed in the good of people. He was a Christian, a devoted husband, a loving father and a proud American.
A visitation is scheduled today at Camelback Sunset Chapel, 301 W. Camelback in Phoenix from 10 to 11 a.m. Memorial services will follow at 11 a.m.
Sam W. Manguso
A memorial service was held for Cottonwood resident Sam Manguso June 8 at Saint Simon and Jude Cathedral in Phoenix.
Mr. Manguso died June 3.
He was 82 years old.
Mr. Manguso owned Sun Trailer Sales.
He was an avid bowler and pianist. Mr. Manguso was an accomplished songwriter.
Survivors include his wife Ida Mae; five sisters, Clara Occhino, Rose Caperalla, Helen Hailla, Marie Barnes and Gloria Maggio; two brothers, Anthony and Mike; three grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter Lana and two brothers, Edward and Carl.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent De Paul Society, 420 W. Watkins St., Phoenix 85003.
In an obituary for John Simonis of Cottonwood, who died May 19, his son, John Michael Simonis, and his wife, Sarah Brandau-Simonis of Phoenix, were not included in the list of survivors.
