Lavaune "Bonnie" Perkins

Cottonwood resident Lavaune Perkins died Oct. 4.

She was 68 years old.

Mrs. Perkins was born May 26, 1933, in Paden, Okla..

A longtime resident of Arizona, Mrs. Perkins worked for many years for Babbitt's Hardware. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She especially enjoyed genealogy.

Survivors include her daughter, Susan Perkins of Cottonwood; three sons, Rick Perkins of Nevada, Tim Perkins of Louisiana and Kevin Perkins of Cottonwood; two sisters, Lucille and Lorettta Scott of California and two brothers, Leon Guinn of Cottonwood and Harley Guinn of Clarkdale; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A son, Jerry Lyle Perkins and Mrs. Perkins' husband, Paul preceded her in death.

A visitation is scheduled Oct. 10 at 9 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1377 E. Hombre Dr. in Cottonwood. Funeral services are scheduled at 10 a.m. with burial following in Cottonwood Cemetery.

Eileen Marie Jarrel

Cottonwood resident Eileen Marie Jarrel died Oct. 7.

She was born in Pompton Lakes, N.J., April 23, 1925.

Mrs. Jarrel was 76 years old.

Private family services were directed by Westcott Funeral Home.

Survivors include two daughters, Ambie Charles of Camp Verde, Patricia Gassman of Nevada; three sons, Joseph Boydell of Cornville, Scott Boydell of California and Barry Boydell of Arizona; six sisters, Marie Aniuck, Betty Panicini, Dorothy Nichols, Joan Auletta, Kathleen De Young and Judy Grieves; two brothers, Ed and Jim Gormley; 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
