Police searching for suspects <br>in assault and robbery case

The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office has released composite drawings of two men alleged to have assaulted and robbed a Bridgeport woman at her home last month.

One suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 25-30 years-old, 5-feet, 8-inches tall, medium build olive complexion with brown hair and eyes. He reportedly has a tattoo of a dagger or a tattoo with jagged edges on the right side of his neck.

The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 30-35 years-old, 5-feet, 9-inches tall, medium build, dark complexion, with brown eyes and brown slicked back hair shaved on the sides. He also has a thin mustache and is possibly missing a front tooth.

Police say the men approached the 52-year-old Bridgeport woman at knifepoint as she was returning home from work Dec. 15. The two men allegedly cut the woman’s shirt off and threatened to kill her if she screamed. One of the men then allegedly forced his way into the woman’s home and stole a moneybag containing about $1,200. Both suspects then sped away in a car described as having a loud muffler.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Det. Rick Barnes at 567-7710 or silent witness at 1-800-932-3232.
