Hilton is new name for local resort
More than the seasons are changing in Sedona. With the introduction of spring comes the announcement of Sedona’s newest resort, the Doubletree, officially flying a new flag. The Village of Oak Creek resort is now officially the Hilton Sedona Resort.
Hilton Hotels Corporation is recognized internationally as a pre-eminent hospitality company. The company develops, owns, manages or franchises approximately 1,900 hotels, resorts and vacation ownership properties. Its portfolio includes many of the world’s best-known and most highly regarded hotel brands, including Hilton, Conrad, Doubletree, Embassy Suites Hotels, Hampton Inn, Hampton Inn & Suites, Harrison Conference Centers, Hilton Garden Inn, Hilton Grand Vacations Company, Homewood Suites by Hilton and Red Lion Hotels & Inns.
Although the name has changed for the resort at 90 Ridge Trail Dr., attention to detail and the excellent service hasn’t.
"We felt the Hilton name more closely aligned with our target markets," explained Steve Miller, general manager. "All the brands of Hilton’s family are exceptional, but the Hilton name is very sought after by meeting professionals. We want to do all we can to make selecting our resort the natural choice when traveling to Sedona."
The resort is owned by Mass Mutual Life in New York and managed by Hilton Hotels Corporation. Together, they have a seasoned on-property management team led by Miller who oversees the day-to-day operations.
"Becoming the new Hilton Sedona Resort is much more than a simple name change, as we look forward to offering our guests an expanded selection of programs, services and facilities, along with out own special blend of Southwestern ambiance," said Miller. "Our entire team is re-energized to become a part of the Hilton family and our ultimate mission is clear. Whether you’re searching for a special vacation experience or planning the perfect business retreat, we are committed to making the Hilton Sedona resort the natural choice when visiting Arizona’s Red Rock Country."
The Hilton Sedona Resort is an all-suite property that features 218 beautifully appointed suites with unparalleled views. The resort is adjacent to a jaw-dropping, 18-hole championship golf course set amidst stunning red-rock formations. In addition to golf, the resort offers a variety of amenities and services including a full-service spa and racquet club. As a member of the Hilton HHonors program, guests receive points and miles on all qualified stays.
