Phillip Eugene Law

Funeral services for Phillip Eugene Law, 38, of Camp Verde were Saturday at Camp Verde Rock Church.

Mr. Law was born Oct. 9, 1962, in Cottonwood. A member of the Yavapai-Apache Nation, he was a heavy-equipment mechanic. He passed away Aug. 7.

Survivors include his wife De Ann; daughters Ariel Law and Addie Garner of Camp Verde; sons Joshua Law and Milo May of Camp Verde; his parents James and Evie Law and Rhoda and Terry Lennon; sisters Susan Barney of Camp Verde, Vivian Phelps of Camp Verde and Princess Karen Zavala of Mesa; and brothers Darrel Law of Arkansas and Brian Law of Camp Verde.

Services were under the direction of Hepler Funeral Home.

Archie Morris

Archie Morris, 72, of Clarkdale passed away Aug. 8.

He was born July 7, 1929, in Douglas.

Mr. Morris worked for the Department of Public Safety for 20 years and was a sergeant. For 15 years, he also was involved in Arizona livestock.

He is survived by his wife Gloria Morris, son Jeff Morris, a brother, a sister and one grandchild.

A memorial service is planned for Aug. 25 at 10:30 a.m. at the Westcott Funeral Home chapel in Cottonwood. It is under the direction of the Sedona Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Diabetes Foundation.

Dora L. Graves

Camp Verde homemaker Dora Graves passed away Aug. 7. She was 77 years old.

She was born April 7, 1924, in Oklahoma.

Survivors include daughters Mildred Greenrock of Camp Verde and Hazel Durken of Kansas City, Kans.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Private arrangements were under the direction of Hepler Funeral Home.

Nellie M. Padilla

Nellie Manuela Chavez Padilla, 87, of Clarkdale died Aug. 8 in Yuma, where she had been with her daughter.

She was born Dec. 16, 1913, in Jerome. Mrs. Padilla attended St. Cecilia's Mission Catholic Church and worked with the Meals on Wheels program.

She leaves two daughters, Guadalupe Evans of Yuma and Paula Lucero of Chandler; a son, Manuel Padilla of Clarkdale; a brother, Juan Chavez; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A funeral Mass was Aug. 14 at St. Cecilia's Mission Church followed by burial in the Valley View Cemetery. Westcott Funeral Home directed arrangements.
