Rimrock juveniles arrested
The Yavapai County Sheriff's Office responded to Triple L Liquor Store in Lake Montezuma for reported suspicious activity Monday morning at about 2:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, a deputy observed three male juveniles to be loitering in the area. The deputy made contact with them and made them aware of the county curfew ordinance. All three were then transported home and released to their parents and guardian without being cited.
A few hours later, at approximately 7:30 a.m., another YCSO deputy responded to the post office in Lake Montezuma for a reported burglary.
The deputy met with a post office employee who pointed out several post office boxes that had been forced opened and two that had glass doors smashed. Several pieces of mail were located on the floor throughout the area. Some mail had also been opened by the suspect(s).
While investigating the scene an anonymous citizen advised the deputy that a call of three juveniles loitering in the area early this morning was made.
According to YCSO, the deputy then interviewed all three regarding the burglary at the post office and all three reportedly admitted to their involvement.
Joshua David Holliday, 16, and Cammeron Cody Evans, 15, were both arrested and booked for burglary at the juvenile detention center in Prescott. Scott Anthony Dorrington, 12, was cited for burglary and released to his parents. All three juveniles are from Rimrock.
