Thank you from the Jackson Family
The Jackson family would like to thank everyone for helping to make the 13th annual Verde Valley Pow Wow a huge success. A special thank you to the dancers, and singers who continued on with the contest despite the 100-degree heat. We especially thank those people who supported and comforted us, as we remembered our Mother, Grandmother, and Great-grandmother, Lucille Rose Jackson.
A great big thank you to the audience members who participated in the Audience Dance Contest. We’ve never laughed so hard. Thank you for being such good sports and we look forward to seeing you again next year.
And last, but certainly not least, thank you to the following sponsors: Cliff Castle Casino, Camp Verde Bashas’, Eagle Mountain Construction, and Sysco.
It has truly been a blessing for our family to be able to continue to share a piece of our culture with all of you, and we hope to see all of you again at the 14th annual Verde Valley Pow Wow in July of 2005.

A big thanks to the Valley
Once again, the Ice Cream Social held by the Clarkdale Memorial Library in our park on July 4 was a rousing success, and the Library volunteers and staff have so many people to thank for their contributions that it is impossible to name them all.
A big thanks to the Valley merchants who always help us out immeasurably; Wal-Mart, Fry’s Foods, Safeway Foods, and Food City. To the managers and associates of these, thank you so much. We couldn’t do it without you.
Thank you more than we can say to the wonderful cooks who donated baked goods and an especial thanks to the crew at Verde Valley Railroad. That beautiful big cake was a real hit.
And to the library volunteers, take a bow! Not only did you show up to help, you brought your families and all pitched in to make the job of serving our 300 or more customers as easy as could be.
And to the city crew who are always ready to assist us in any way they can, thank you to. We do appreciate your help.
It was a wonderful day. Let’s do it again next year!
