Search results in multiple arrests

Yavapai County Sheriff's Office reported the arrest of Miguel Ronald Santillan, 32, Stacey Jo Sordahl, 29, and Daniel Edward Varela, 39, all of Cottonwood on May 21.

According to a police report, YSCO Special Crimes Unit, Cottonwood Police Department and the Prescott Area Narcotics Task Force, (PANT) executed simultaneous search warrants at 510 and 512 Balboa St. in Cottonwood at approximately 4 a.m.

Deputies report that the search warrant was obtained as a result of a lengthy joint investigation

The report states that pursuant to the execution of the search warrant, Santillan was booked into the Yavapai County Detention Facility in Camp Verde and faces charges of alleged possession of dangerous drugs, alleged possession of methamphetamine and marijuana, alleged possession of drug paraphernalia, alleged possession of prescription only drugs and alleged possession of a firearm during a drug offense.

According to the report, Santillan was also charged for an outstanding misdemeanor arrest warrant stemming from a prior traffic offense.

Deputies report that Stacey Jo Sordahl faces charges of alleged possession of dangerous drugs (methamphetamine), alleged possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, alleged possession of a firearm during a drug offense, and alleged probation violation.

The report states further that Daniel Edward Varela, faces charges of possession of dangerous drugs, (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm during a drug offense and an charge of prohibited possession of a firearm.

Deputies report that Jamie Travis Sordahl, was issued a citation alleging possession of drug paraphernalia and Patricia Santillan, 51, was also issued a citation alleging possession of marijuana, alleged possession of drug paraphernalia and alleged possession of prescription only drugs.

The report states that the amount of drugs seized was during the search warrant was probably for personal use and valued at $100 or less, however, other charges will be sought, such as possession for sale based on the totality of the entire investigation.
