Mules & Donkeys Can Do More
Western folklore and legend portrays the American Quarter Horse as a cowboy's best friend - punching cattle, traveling trails, and performing the many duties needed by the western cowboy.
Sept. 17-18 the Pioneer Days Mule & Donkey Show, located in downtown Camp Verde, will demonstrate to spectators that mules and donkeys can do more. The Mule & Donkey Show has become a tradition with the Pioneer Days event, which portrays many southwest traditions. There will also be a Gun & Knife Show in conjunction with this event.
Exhibitors participating in the Mule Show will compete in a variety of events including packing and trail competitions, halter classes, western pleasure classes, obstacle driving, & coon jumping.
