Raymond L. Crowe

Raymond L. Crowe, 91, of Cottonwood, died Friday, Dec. 23, 2005, in Camp Verde. He was born to Richard and Sarah Crowe on Feb. 9, 1914, in Frostburg, Md.

Raymond was preceded in death by his first wife, Margret Anne.

He is survived by his wife Lotchen Crowe; daughter, Martha Crowe, of Ithica N.Y.; son Raymond, of Severna Park, Md.; sister Johanna Gaiser, of Elwood City, Pa.; and two grandchildren.

Raymond loved hunting, fishing camping, and raising his family. He was a past member of the Masonic Lodge in Illinois.

Private Family services will be held in Severna Park Maryland at a later date.

Jack A. Williams Sr.

Jack Alan Williams, Sr., 64, of Cornville, died Dec. 19, 2005. He was born to Wilbur and Emma Williams on Aug. 25, 1941, in Napa Valley, Calif., where he spent his youth and graduated from the Napa Valley High School.

Jack was a member of the Teamsters Union. He was a truck driver for Consolidated Freightways, and later became owner and operator of J.A.W.S. Trucking. After 35 years of dedicated employment in the trucking industry, Jack retired.

He also loved hunting and fishing, and was considered quite an outdoorsman.

Jack is preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Lois M. Williams, his brother, Dean; two sisters, Catherine and Rene, and his parents, Harold and Emma Johnston.

Jack leaves behind four sons; Jerry Williams, of Cornville, Jim Williams, also of Cornville, David Williams, of Cottonwood, and Jack Williams Jr., of Smithton, Pa.; three brothers, Jim T. Williams, Harold Williams and Henry Johnston; two sisters, Ellen and Ruth; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be today, Dec. 28, 2005, at 2 p.m. at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave., in Cottonwood.
