Strombolli's Restaurant & Pizzeria

Known for its N.Y. Style Pizza and Baked Calzones, Strombolli's Restaurant and Pizzeria in Cottonwood is adding something special to the menu in the form of Chef Seth Miller.

Miller, a Cottonwood native, is a graduate of the Scottsdale Culinary Institute and is a Cordon Bleu Certified Chef. After spending time in the Caribbean and Alaska as an executive chef, Miller felt the need to return the valley after starting a family of his own.

"I wanted to be here because I have an appreciation for the area and the people here," he says.

Owner Stephen Turner is thrilled to have Miller and both are working at a searing pace to integrate Seth's talent and ideas in the menu.

"It's great to have Seth here with us and I'm excited about his energy," says Turner.

Seth has already begun to make menu changes to accommodate fulltime steak specials, and with additional seafood specials, the goal is to have something for everyone.

"The idea is to expand the current menu," says Seth.

"And have a various price range that caters to everyone," adds Turner.

Strombolli's currently has five or six nightly specials, homemade soups, and various cheesecakes for dessert. "Tiramisu is coming soon," says Seth, which is sure to be a hit.

In addition to Chef Seth Miller, Turner and Strombolli's are in the midst of expanding the restaurant to create more seating for smoking and non-smoking. "We're creating more room with a warm, inviting décor, so that we have it all. Whether it is a romantic evening or pizza and beer, we want you to come on down," says Turner.

Boasting of the best pizza in town, which is hand tossed and baked on stone, Seth and Turner want everyone "to come and try it." They are also adding the high quality meat Boar's Head to the menu.

Strombolli's has eight specialty pizzas, calzones, pasta, seafood, and a full bar with wine, beer, and cocktails. Happy Hour is offered in the Lounge from 3 to 7 p.m. daily.

There is live music Wednesday thru Friday with genre's for everyone. On Wednesday's you can enjoy jazz and blues from 6 to 8 p.m. or hear various musicians on Thursday's open Jam Night from 8:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m. Let loose on Friday's Band Night from 8:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m. with blues, rock, and dance.

Dining is open from 11am-10pm daily and full menu delivery is available to the Cottonwood, Clarkdale, Verde, and Santa Fe Villages.
