Laura Nan Hayes Austill Shield, 67, died Saturday, March 31, 2007, in Moon, Pa. Laura was born April 20, 1939, in Blue Lake, Mich.
She was raised in Chicago, Ill., but raised her children in Montana. She later moved to Arizona in 1989. Laura retired from Bashas' in Sedona and was a member of the local V.F.W.
She is survived by five siblings, Patty Ricci of Washington, Lynn Hedgecoth of Tennessee, Mickie Tremell of Florida, Howard Hayes of Kentucky, and Pete Hayes of Oregon. She is also survived by nine children, 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
