We should believe Bush and his administration; yea, right
Once again, the "Czar of all Knowledge," Mr. Jim Barber, has given us his insight on "global warming" and how "it doesn't exist."
The fact is that 2,000 scientists from around the world conclude otherwise, yet he alone knows the truth. Maybe all these scientists are in the "great collaboration" to scare the human population. After all, the Bush administration concludes the same thing as you Mr. Barber. Yes, they even have studies to prove it. Of course the studies have been done by companies like Exxon Mobil. What more credible source to do this study than an oil company?
This is the oil company that was offering $10,000 to pseudo scientists who could concoct studies that would dispute the findings of reputable scientists.
This is the oil company that spent $16 million between 1998 and 2005 paid to organizations whose only goal was to confuse the American public on global warming.
This is the same oil company that made record profits in 2006 and whose CEO received a retirement package of $400 million. Yes, this is a company whose findings I would truly believe.
Further, why would anyone question the truthfulness of the Bush administration? This is the same administration who tied Osama Bin Laden (remember him) to Saddam Hussein, who said there were WMD's in Iraq, and with regard to the war in Iraq said "mission accomplished!"
How could anyone doubt their conclusion that global warming doesn't exist?
So, go ahead Mr. Barber and convince yourself that "black" is "white" because your wonderful president tells you so.
You're certainly not the only one with your head in the sand, but then again, maybe you also believed the tobacco companies that once said smoking doesn't cause health problems.
