Edith Blasé 1922 - 2007

After a long, happy life, Edith Anne (Boston) Blasé died Nov. 28, 2007. She was born in Salina, Kan., on March 15, 1922, to Jessamine Stuart (Harris) Boston and Alonzo Douglas Boston.

She lived in Salina until 1964, the year she and her husband Delbert Jacob Blasé moved to Mesa. In 1968 they moved to Jerome and eventually Cottonwood.

Edith was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and was an amazing artist, especially when painting ceramics. She will be remembered for her bright eyes and warm smile.

She is survived by her husband, Delbert Jacob Blasé of Cottonwood; children, Edith Marie Tucker of Mesa, Raymond Wolsieffer of Phoenix, Douglas Wolsieffer of Dallas, Texas, Anne Conway of Sedona; and her sister, Mary Lou Wills of Salina. Edith had eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in Sedona, Arizona.
