Obituary: Dennis R. Mead 1948 - 2007
Dennis Ray Mead, 59, died Nov. 29, 2007, at his home in Camp Verde. Dennis was born Aug. 5, 1948, in Scotia, Calif., to Lorenzo and Lois (Willburn) Mead.
Many may know Dennis through his business, Arizona Discoveries, which he ran for 28 years in Jerome. Dennis also served in the Jerome Chamber of Commerce.
Dennis loved searching for unusual rocks and minerals. Dennis loved coaching soccer and enjoyed coaching the Tornados.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Juana Mead; his son, Dennis Ray Mead Jr. of Cottonwood; his daughters, Heather Annabell Newman of Clarkdale and Tammy Marie Brewer of Cottonwood; his brother, Roy Mead; his sisters, Melba Dean Goodwin and Martha Enos; and six grandchildren.
Private services will be held. Bueler Funeral Home assisted the family.
