Elizabeth A. Daugherty 1921 - 2007

Elizabeth A. Daugherty, born May 8, 1921, died Nov. 26, 2007. Elizabeth was born in Phoenix. She had recently moved to Camp Verde to be near family members. Camp Verde was always a place she loved.

Elizabeth was an accomplished cook, loved to sew and loved to talk about the history of Arizona and politics. Education was of paramount importance, and she was known for the encouragement she offered to all who knew her.

Elizabeth was the mother of six children, four daughters and two sons. Only the four daughters survive her; Betty Chester of Camp Verde, Mitzi Carter of Connecticut, Shela Holley of Phoenix, and Deborah Hayes of Delaware. There are 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, (with a great-great-grandchild on the way).
