New food and beverage director at Sedona Hilton Resort and Spa
Joseph Serreyn has been appointed Hilton Sedona Resort and Spa's new director of food and beverage.
Serreyn has been in the food and beverage industry for 30 years, with humble beginnings at McDonalds, his first job. He went on to own a deli and then became a banquet manager at the Marquette Hotel in Minneapolis. He went on to work for multiple Hyatt properties across the United States.
"Serreyn's wealth of experience and proven management skills will bring our food and beverage operation to the next level," said General Manager Lynn Ericksen. "He will be working closely with our teams in the restaurants and ballroom operations to ensure that the culinary expectations of our guests are not only met, but exceeded time and time again."
Serreyn said he took the position to expand his experience into the realm of "quality resorts." He looks forward to working with the Hilton staff.
"The key thing for me here is to continue moving forward with the Hilton brand standards," he said. "I'm looking to take where we are now and keep moving it ahead."
Serreyn is excited about helping to launch Hilton's new breakfast program.
