Longtime Verde Valley resident Quentin M. Hughes died June 13, 2007.
Mr. Hughes was born June 3, 1934.
He was the son of John T. and Josephine Hughes.
Quentin was a retired real estate broker and owned Cornville Realty. He was active in the Moose Lodge and received his Pilgrimage. For many years, Quentin and his wife, Doby, were the organizers of the annual Moose Lodge Christmas dinner for senior citizens in the Verde Valley.
Quentin and his family moved to Cornville in 1971.
He is survived by his wife, Doby; his four sons, Ed Hughes (Cheryl), Tom Hughes (Debbie), Tim Crane (Suzie), Gerry Crane (Myra); and his daughter, Donna Wilson (Larry); his brother, Thomas Hughes (Jo Ann); and his sister, BJ Livermore; nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life for Mr. Hughes will be held Saturday, June 16, 1 p.m., at the Clarkdale Moose Lodge.
