Chocolate Lover's Walk tickets available
Take your loved one for a stroll through Old Town Cottonwood on Saturday, Dec. 1, from 4 to 8 p.m. while collecting handmade chocolates from the 23 participating Old Town Cottonwood merchants.
To enhance the evening further, one can enjoy the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony and music by the Cottonwood Band at the Civic Center, which is also the headquarters for the Chocolate Walk that evening. The Verde Valley Voices will also make the rounds to cheer everyone with Christmas carols along the luminaria-lit streets.
Participating merchants, who are providing the chocolate for this event, can be found with the map provided at the Cottonwood Civic Center, along with a decorated bag for your goodies. This year there will be four main raffle items that include tickets to Verde Canyon Railway, tickets to Blazin' M Ranch, a music box from The Little Store, and a fine art print by Ramona Stites from Javadog Gallery. There will also be door prizes awarded at the Civic Center that evening.
You don't have to purchase a ticket to come and enjoy the shops and restaurants, but you do need one in order to collect chocolate on the way. Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased now at Javadog Gallery, The Manheim Gallery, Little Lisa's, Coombs Countertops, The Little Store, and the Cottonwood Chamber of Commerce. There are only 400 tickets available.
If you wish to purchase a raffle ticket prior to Dec. 1, call Little Lisa's at (928) 639-0676 or the Old Town Jail at 634-9468.
The Old Town Association, a non-profit organization, working for the betterment of our Old Town District, sponsors this event.
