Manuel C. 'Bing' Coleman 1923 - 2008

Manuel C. 'Bing' Coleman, 85, of Texas, died on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Bonham, Texas.

He was born in Twitty, Texas, Oct. 1, 1923.

At the age of 6 months he moved to Arizona and remained a resident until his health forced him to move to Texas to be closer to his children.

He was a veteran of World War II.

A former resident of Prescott, he worked as a boiler technician for 27 years at the Veteran's Administration.

Mr. Coleman is survived by a son James Coleman and his wife, Deborah; a daughter, Mary Allison and her husband Glenn.

He is also survived by six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild

Mr. Coleman was preceded in death by his mother, father and all of his brothers and sisters.

Today, Nov. 9, 3-5 p.m., there will be a visitation at the Westcott Funeral Home 1013 E. Mingus Avenue.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, Nov. 10, 10 a.m., at the Cottonwood Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by the VFW Post # 7400.
