Candle Lighting Celebration at new Spiritual Living Sedona
The holidays are here and so is the new Center for Spiritual Living Sedona at Canyon Moon Theatre on Sundays at 10 a.m. The Sedona community has welcomed Rev. Janet Kingsley with open arms since its opening Nov. 1. There’s quite a buzz around town that this is the place to be on Sundays mornings.
On Dec. 20, the Center will offer a special Holiday candle lighting celebration starting at 10 a.m. In addition to the inspirational talk by Rev. Janet Kingsley, plenty of classic and contemporary holiday music will be featured. Musical inspiration will be provided by Sedona’s popular duo Tom & Shondra, Steve Bernard, Toni Munoz, and Aileen Smart. This amazing group of musicians are also the Center’s ongoing singing group.
Shondra Jepperson, having been Rev. Janet Kingsley’s music director for the past three years in Flagstaff commented, “Tom and I love working with Rev. Janet and we’re excited to be bringing this Christmas program to Sedona this year with the addition of solos from our talented singers that join us every Sunday.”
Holiday selections include Ave Maria, Mary Did You Know, O’ Holy Night and some lighter fare such as Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, The Christmas Song, and Santa Baby. Also included in the program will be sing-a-longs like Jingle Bells, Happy Holidays and White Christmas.
Rev. Janet Kingsley bases her talks on universal spiritual principles such as those found in Science of Mind and Unity teachings.
The Center for Spiritual Living Sedona provides a multitude of opportunities for anyone, in any stage of life, to grow spiritually. It is a place that communicates and celebrates the positive aspects of humankind, the world around us, and our relationship to the Power within.
Rev. Janet is very excited about bringing her weekly messages every Sunday to Canyon Moon Theatre. When asked about her vision, Kingsley stated, “I am committed to creating a Center that works for everyone, where no one is overlooked and each person has an opportunity to thrive. I want to help create a spiritual experience and environment for personal growth and development for all who attend. Ultimately, what we do at our Center changes the world, one person at a time.”
After enjoying the holiday presentation on Dec. 20, folks can enjoy a wonderful lunch at the neighboring popular restaurant, Market Place Café. MPC has generously given the Center an endless supply of 10 percent discount cards for all folks attending the Center for Spiritual Living on Sundays. When a guest presents the card to a waiter at MPC, they will receive a 10 percent discount on their meal. This is a wonderful way to celebrate the season while getting acquainted with this new addition to Sedona.
Canyon Moon Theatre is located in the Oak Creek Outlet Center in the Village of Oak Creek near The Gap.
