Clarkdale council to present strategic planning
The Clarkdale Town Council will meet in regular session Tuesday a 6 p.m. Among other agenda items, the council will give an update presentation on the town's strategic planning session held Jan. 30.
The council and the town's department heads met in a special work session to formulate Clarkdale's Strategic Plan for 2009-2010.
Because this is an update only, no action will be taken on the plan.
On another item, the council will discuss and possibly approve the Arizona Historical Records Advisory Board Grant. Clarkdale was awarded the $3,165 grant to share with the Clarkdale Heritage Museum for its archive preservation project. The grant is for 100 percent and does not require any matching funds from the town.
The council also will discuss and possibly approve the fiscal year audit for 2008. The annual financial report summarizes all funds including general, streets, water, wastewater, sanitation and cemetery. Town staff has recommended that the council approve the 2008 audit.
The council meets in the Men's Lounge of the Clark Memorial Clubhouse at 19 N. Ninth St.
