Lester Allison Earl (77) entered Heaven on Wednesday 2/11/2009 at his home in Apache Creek, N.M. A lifelong resident of Sedona, he was a residential building/excavation contractor and member of the Sedona Oakcreek fire department. He is survived by his wife I.E. Earl, three daughters, Connie Robertson Talca Chile, Lois Greenwood Asheville NC, and Doris Jordan Garland Texas. Graveside services will be conducted on Monday 2/16/2009 at 2 p.m. Sedona Memorial Park.

James Wallace Carter

James Wallace Carter, age 83, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2009 at his home in Camp Verde with Dorothy "Dossie", his high school sweetheart and beloved wife of 61 years, by his side.

He is the son of educators, Dr. J. Frank and Gladys Carter. He served in the Navy during WW II on the hospital ship, Repose and was originally a Dr. of Chiropractic from PA, before he and Dossie came to Arizona in 1979.

They lived in Sun Lakes, where he was Chief of Security for 18 years, a past member of American Legion Post #55, Voiture Local 1466, and an Arizona Ranger.

Wally is survived by his wife, Dossie, his daughter and son-in-law, Deb and Bob Martino of Camp Verde, and family back east. Your kind remembrances will be gratefully accepted by RTA Hospice in Sedona, AZ; 928-284-0180.
