I am perplexed by the "pro-life" GOP leadership that espouses [for votes] the anti-abortion position because of professed "moral" superiority but then does not support real healthcare reform for the American people.
Apparently, the GOP leadership [for votes] puts great emphasis on preserving life before birth but has no interest in that life after delivery.
The only way the GOP leadership can preserve a position of moral superiority is to protect and preserve life after birth, too.
That is what real healthcare reform is all about. It promises to "ensure" that our progeny will have quality, affordable healthcare from cradle to grave. All of our progeny not just those of the wealthy elite or politically connected.
Perhaps, if the GOP leadership were to endorse healthcare reform it would change the well earned perception that the GOP stands for Greed Over Principle.
