The Town of Clarkdale received a letter last week from the Clarkdale Chamber of Commerce in support of the Clarkdale Sustainability Park. The letter notes, in part: "Our vision states that we are Partners Promoting a Vibrant Clarkdale and we, as the Board of Directors, believe that this project will do just that."
The letter also states that the Chamber Board believes the development and operations of the CSP will provide many benefits to their members, including:

Creating well-paying jobs, educational opportunities and exciting cultural benefits;
Stabilizing local taxation by providing durable and sustainable revenues for our Town;
Enhancing our regional water assets by creating new potable water resources vital to the growth and health of our local economy;
Positioning our Town as a leader in our region, state and the nation; and,
Environmentally, reducing dependence on foreign oil, reducing greenhouse gases, and protecting the Verde River as an important recreational and tourist attraction.
