Clarkdale Town Council to meet in special session Tuesday
CLARKDALE - The town council will meet in special session at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Community Room of the Clarkdale Administration Building at 39 N. Ninth St.
Under the consent agenda is approval of a joint funding agreement with the United States Geological Survey (USGS) water resources investigations. This agreement would provide a mechanism for Clarkdale to provide a sub-grant through the Walton Family Foundation grant to the Verde River Basin partnership with USGS. The Clarkdale Sustainability Park also receives grant funds through the Walton Family Foundation grant.
Also on the consent agenda is a resolution to change the composition of the General Plan update committee.
Under the New Business agenda, one item calls for discussion and possible action on updates to the financial operations guide for the town.
Another item calls for possible action to increase the project limit to $1.6 million for the Lower Town Water Main Replacement Project.
Possible approval of a purchase order is also on the agenda. The purchase order is with Parsons Contracting for the Old Town Waterline Replacement Project for $1,383,396.
Also on the meeting agenda is possible action on a second amendment to the development agreement between the town and Highlands Subdivision with PTM Enterprises.
John Rasmussen, coordinator of the Yavapai County Water Advisory Committee, will make a presentation on water and the advisory committee's role in water studies.
