Tuesday, Dec. 21, at 7 p.m., talent from around Sedona and the Verde Valley will grace the Canyon Moon Theatre stage to celebrate the Winter Solstice with an array of holiday music, dramatic readings and messages of peace. This performance is a fundraiser hosted by the Center for Positive Living Sedona which holds its Sunday morning services at Canyon Moon Theatre every Sunday at 10 a.m. with a portion of the proceeds being donated to benefit the Sedona Humane Society.

"We're very excited all of these talented people are gifting their talents to help benefit a spiritual center they are not associated with directly," said Shondra Jepperson, music director of the Center. "It's going to be an amazing evening filled with community sharing, music, joy, and laughter."

The Rev. Janet Kingsley, spiritual director of the Center agrees. "This is truly an interfaith event and shows the depth of love and acceptance among the spiritual leaders here in Sedona and the Verde Valley. In addition, Mary Guaraldi, artistic director of Canyon Moon Theatre, is generously supporting this event."

Included in the evening's presentation includes some of Sedona's most popular musical talents and entertainers singing everyone's holiday favorites.

On hand will be the Verde Valley Presbyterian Church Choir with their music director Barbara Osher, Sedona Diva Jeanie Carroll, singer/actor Brad Roberts, drummer Danii White-Odudua presenting a drum piece to celebrate Kwanzaa, Sedona favorite's Tom & Shondra and 10 singers from the extremely popular Red Rock Appella under the direction of Sandy Wingate. Songs selections include traditional, contemporary Christmas and Hebrew tunes including comedic songs and sing-alongs.

Messages of holiday tradition, hope, and peace, including candle lighting, will be delivered by Verde Valley Presbyterian Church's Pastor Bobbye Clark, Jewish Community of the Verde Valley's Rabbi Alicia Magal and the Center for Positive Living Sedona's Rev. Janet Kingsley.

The Center for Spiritual Living Sedona offers inspirational and motivational talks partnered with live, upbeat music by Sedona's popular duo Tom & Shondra every Sunday at 10 a.m. at Canyon Moon Theatre.

The Rev. Janet Kingsley bases her talks on universal spiritual principles such as those found in Science of Mind and Unity teachings.

Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 at the door. Tickets are available now at Bashas in west Sedona, Rycus Corners in the Village of Oak Creek and Canyon Moon Theatre.
