Helen Turner 1906 - 2010
Helen Turner, 103 of Cottonwood, died June 4 in Sedona. She was born July 25, 1906 in the Oklahoma Territory, the daughter of Arthur Dewey Loomis and Eva Loomis.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed teaching china painting. She loved all arts and crafts. A member of Mountain View United Methodist Church, she loved her church activities. She was a bright shining light to many people. She was a good listener to many and always remained happy and positive.
Her husband, Charles Turner preceded her in death.
Mrs. Turner is survived by her daughter Betty McClure (Bruce) of Cottonwood; two grandchildren Kevin McClure and Lucinda Taylor; two great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held July 13, 2010 in the Mountain View United Methodist Church at 10 AM with Pastor Michael Anderson will officiate.
