Precision Physical Therapy has new manager
COTTONWOOD – Todd Lyonnais is the new clinic manager for Precision Physical Therapy at 856 Cove Parkway, Suite A in Cottonwood.
Todd received his degree in physical therapy from Northeastern University in Boston. He comes to Cottonwood from Martha’s Vineyard.
“It’s a standard therapy clinic,” Todd said. “Most of what we do is injury or illness related.”
Todd said the clinic is small with, at the most, two therapists. In fact, the clinic is currently looking for a second therapist.
“I chose this clinic because it’s small,” Todd said. “We know our patients’ families and children.”
He said the personal attention works very well for patients as well as the therapist. “Because it’s small, we get to help patients build a lifestyle that they can make the best of.”
Todd said that many of the clinic’s new patients have been sent to Precision Physical Therapy by family members or close friends, most of who were former patients.
The clinic offers an anodyne unit, which is near infrared treatment, for peripheral neuropathy. In addition to standard physical therapy treatments, the clinic also has restoration-of-balance programs.
The clinic works by appointment only, but standard hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Todd said that he does come in as early as 7 a.m. for patients whose work schedules require early treatment. He also will stay past 5 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday for patients requiring later appointments.
The clinic is closed from noon to 1 p.m. for lunch.
