Robert E. ‘Bob’ Haenny 1939 - 2010

Robert E. “Bob” Haenny, 71 of Cottonwood, Arizona died July 8, 2010. Bob was born March 31, 1939 in Old Ripley, Illinois to Eugene and Goldie Haenny.

Bob spent nearly his entire life in Maroa, Illinois. He graduated from Maroa-Forsyth High School in 1957. He married Adrienne Joyce Stoutenborough on October 4, 1959.

He retired from Farm Real Estate and Crop Hail Insurance in 2008 after 35 years.

He and Adrienne had three sons; Mark, Bruce and Darren. Their house and yard on the corner of North Walnut and Washington Streets was a hub of activity for many years.

Bob is survived by his wife Adrienne, sons; Mark of Loveland, Colorado, Bruce and wife Lori of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Darren and wife Janice of San Luis Obispo, California.

Bob is also survived by his sister Joyce and husband Ron Holland of Maroa, Illinois and six grandkids: Emily, Claire, and Grace Haenny of Loveland, Colorado; Nicholas and Allison of Scottsdale, Arizona and Parker Haenny of San Luis Obispo, California.

A celebration of Bob’s life will be held Labor Day weekend in Cottonwood, Arizona.
